| Conformity of Production (CoP) is an integral part of ECWVTA and all other certifications, without it Vehicle Approval cannot be considered or certified by the recognised Authority.
The first and foremost element in the Vehicle Approval process is to apply and achieve CoP certification – this is mandatory and not optional in the Type Approval Process and essential before any vehicles can be manufactured.
For Companies not in possession of ISO 9001 or TS16949 considerable work may be required before applying for a CoP audit, or relatively minor upgrade of a pre-existing process. A thourogh independant review prior to audit will save considerably time and expense. |
Certech will review your current systems and provide a gap analysis enabling action to be taken in preparation of the CoP audit. If required this will involve designing control plans and production systems to implement before a CoP audit is conducted. |
